Article 1

本校為獎勵優秀境外學生就讀本校，並減輕在校就學期間財務負擔，特訂定本辦法。

The Regulations is hereby formulated for the purpose of rewarding outstanding overseas students to study in the University and relieving their financial burden during their enrollment.

第二條

本辦法適用對象為透過申請本校境外學生入學招生管道並獲本校錄取之新生，及符合相關規定資格之舊生。

This Regulations is applicable to freshmen who apply for admission through the overseas student admission channel of the University and are admitted by the University as well as existing students who meet relevant qualifications.

第三條

Article 3

申請時間及相關繳交資料：

Application Period and Relevant Materials to Be Submitted:

申請入學或註冊就讀後提出獎助學金申請，依照各獎助學金公告時間及規定，並檢附各獎助學金規定之應繳文件如申請表、讀書計畫、履歷/自傳、最近一學年（期）成績單（含GPA對照成績）、推薦信、在學證明/新生入學許可證明、學術卓越或榮譽表現證明文件、工作證等。

Students may apply for scholarships/grants as they apply for admission or after they have registered and enrolled. Additionally, they shall, in accordance with the timeline and regulations specified for each scholarship/grant, attach documents such as: application form, study plan, resume/autobiography, transcript of the latest academic year (period) (including GPA), letter of recommendation, proof of study/admission certificate for new students, proof of academic excellence or honorary performance, work permit, etc. required for each scholarship/grant.

Article 4

審核程序

Review Procedures

申請就讀本校之境外新生或已註冊之境外學生須檢附前條規定之申請文件向研發處國際暨兩岸教育中心提出獎助學金申請，經本校研發處國際暨兩岸教育中心初審，再提請國際事務推動委員會審定。依據申請學生之成績優異條件核發下列不同項目之獎助學金後，公布並通知獲獎人。

Applicants for scholarships/grants from overseas freshmen or registered overseas students of the University must submit the application documents specified in the preceding article to the International & Cross-Strait Education Center under the Office of Research and Development Department. After initial review by the International & Cross-Strait Education Center under the Office of Research and Development Department, the application will be submitted to the International Affairs Promotion Committee for approval. The following scholarship and grants will be issued according to the applicant’s merit criteria before winners are announced and informed.

一、獎助學金項目：Scholarships/Grants:

(一)國立臺北護理健康大學外國學生獎學金

Scholarship for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Foreign Students

(二)國立臺北護理健康大學境外學生助學金

Grant for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Overseas Students

(三)國立臺北護理健康大學外國學生傑出獎學金

Scholarship of Excellence for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Foreign Students

(四)國立臺北護理健康大學境外學生在校住宿減免助學金

National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Overseas Student On-Campus Accommodation Fee Waiver

二、各獎助學金概要：Overview of Scholarships/Grants:

(一)國立臺北護理健康大學外國學生獎學金

Scholarship for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Foreign Students

1. 申請資格：Eligibility:

(1)新生：Freshmen:

1. 學雜費半額優惠：大學部學生申請須提供入學前最高學歷之學業總成績換算國內成績總平均達70分以上，研究所（含）以上學生申請須提供入學前最高學歷之學業總成績換算國內成績總平均達80分以上，受獎生享有同學年度之學雜費半額優惠。

Halved Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees: For undergraduate students who have been enrolled less than one academic year, their average grade during their final year at the highest education level completed must be equivalent to 70 points or higher; For graduate students (including) or above who have been enrolled for less than one academic year, their average grade during their final year at the highest education level completed must be equivalent to 80 points or higher. Awarded students are entitled to half of the annual tuition and fees for the same academic year.

2. 學雜費全免優惠：大學部學生申請須提供入學前最高學歷之學業總成績換算國內成績總平均達75分以上，研究所（含）以上學生申請須提供入學前最高學歷之學業總成績換算國內成績總平均達85分以上，受獎生享有同學年之學雜費全免優惠。

Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Waiver: For  undergraduate students who have been enrolled less than one academic year, their average grade during their final year at the highest education level completed must be equivalent to 75 or higher; For graduate students (including) or above who have been enrolled for less than one academic year, their average grade during their final year at the highest education level completed must be equivalent to 85 or higher. Awarded students are entitled to be tuition and fee waiver for the same academic year.

(2)舊生：Existing Students:

1. 學雜費半額優惠：大學部學生申請須提供前一學年學業成績平均達75分以上，研究所（含）以上學生申請須提供前一學年學業成績平均達85分以上；申請者前一學年操行成績達80分以上。撰寫論文期間無上學年成績者得提出指導教授推薦書及研究計畫，受獎生享有同學年之學雜費半額優惠。

Students with no academic achievements of the previous academic year during the thesis writing period may submit the recommendation letter from their adviser and research project. Awarded students are entitled to half of the annual tuition and miscellaneous fees for the same academic year.

2. 學雜費全免優惠：大學部學生申請須提供前一學年學業成績平均達85分以上，研究所（含）以上學生申請須提供前一學年度學業成績平均達90分以上；申請者前一學年操行成績達80分以上。撰寫論文期間無上學年成績者得提出指導教授推薦書及研究計畫，受獎生享有同學年之學雜費全免優惠。

Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Exempted: Undergraduate students must have earned an average grade higher than 85 points in the previous academic year; Graduate students (including) or above must have earned an average grade higher than 90 points in the previous academic year; the applicant has achieved a conduct score of 80 or above in the previous academic year. Students with no academic achievements of the previous academic year during the thesis writing period may submit the recommendation letter from their adviser and research project. Awarded students are entitled to the tuition and miscellaneous fees waiver for the same academic year.

2. 前一學年度修讀本校華語課程出席率達80%以上。

The attendance rate of Chinese language courses in the previous academic year was more than 80%.

3. 實際獲獎名額依當年度經費預算進行調整。

The actual award quota shall be adjusted based on the annual budget of that year.

(二)國立臺北護理健康大學境外學生助學金

Grant for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Overseas Students

1. 申請資格：Eligibility:

(1)大學部：每學期至少修習6學分，申請前一學期學業平均成績達70分以上者；入學未滿一學年者，最高學歷之學業總成績換算國內成績總平均達70分以上。

Undergraduate students must have taken a minimum of six credits every semester and have earned an average grade higher than 70 in the previous academic year. For students who have been enrolled less than one academic year, their average grade during their final year at the highest education level completed must be equivalent to 70 or higher.

(2)碩士班或博士班：每學期至少修習一門學科，且最近有修習學分之學年學業平均成績達80分以上者；入學未滿一學期者，最高學歷之學業總成績換算國內總平均達80分以上。

Graduate students or PhD students must take at least one course every semester in addition to achieving an average grade of 80 or higher in their most recent academic year. For graduate students who have been enrolled for less than one academic year, their average grade during their final year at the highest education level completed must be equivalent to 80 or higher.

(3)國際專修部及其他學生尚未取得正式課程成績者，得以使用前一學期華語課程成績申請。

International Foundation Program and other students who have not obtained the formal course grade may use the Chinese course grade in the preceding semester for application.

2. 獎助生之權利與義務，請參閱「國立臺北護理健康大學境外學生助學金申請要點」辦理，實際獲獎名額依當年度高教深耕等補助計畫經費預算進行調整。

For rights and obligations of grant winner, please refer to [Application Guidelines for Grants for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Overseas Students]. The actual award quota shall be adjusted in accordance with the annual budget for higher and extension education.

(三)國立臺北護理健康大學外國學生傑出獎學金

Scholarship of Excellence for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Foreign Students

1. 申請資格：Eligibility:

(1)碩士班新生：學術表現換算國內成績達80分以上，並檢附相關學術卓越或榮譽表現證明文件，受獎生享有同學年度學雜費半額優惠和每月生活費新臺幣20,000元整。

Freshmen of Master’s Program: Applicants with academic achievements equivalent to Taiwanese university’s must have earned an average grade higher than 80 points , and relevant proof of academic excellence or honorary performance shall be attached. Awarded students are entitled to halved tuition and miscellaneous fees for the same academic year and monthly living allowance of NT$20,000.

(2)博士班新生：學術表現換算國內成績達80分以上，並檢附發表在期刊上的研究證明、相關學術卓越或榮譽表現證明文件。受獎生享有同學年度學雜費半額優惠和每月生活費新臺幣25,000元整。

Freshmen of Doctoral Program: Applicant with academic achievements equivalent to Taiwanese university’s must have earned an average grade higher than 80 points , and relevant proof of researches published on the journals, proof of academic excellence or honorary performance shall be attached. Awarded students are entitled to halved tuition and miscellaneous fees for the same academic year and monthly living allowance of NT$25,000.

2. 相關續領條件: 僅限當年度已受獎生得於次年申請續領一次，且於當年度平均學業成績達90分以上，並於受獎期間依規定履行各項義務。

Relevant Re-claim Condition: This applies only to the awarded students of that academic year who may apply for re-claim the scholarship in the new year and who have earned an average grade higher than 90 points of that academic year and performed obligations as stipulated during the award period.

3. 前一學年度修讀本校華語課程出席率80%以上。

The attendance rate of Chinese language courses in the previous academic year was more than 80%.

4. 獎學金生之權利與義務，請參閱「國立臺北護理健康大學外國學生傑出獎學金申請要點」辦理，實際獲獎名額依當年度經費預算進行調整。

For rights and obligations of scholarship winner, please refer to [Application Guidelines for Scholarship of Excellence for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Foreign Students]. The actual award quota shall be adjusted in accordance with the annual budget for higher and extension education.

(四)國立臺北護理健康大學境外學生在校住宿減免助學金

National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Overseas Student On-Campus Accommodation Fee Waiver

1. 申請資格：Eligibility:

(1)新生：取得入學資格進入就讀並申請本校宿舍之境外學生，未領取校內獎學金（國立臺北護理健康大學外國學生獎學金不在此限）或校外政府機關全額獎助金。且成績排名於本校境外新生前10%。

Freshmen: Overseas students who have been admitted and applied for the University’s accommodation, who have not yet claimed the University’s scholarship (this doesn’t apply to the Scholarship for National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences Foreign Students) or full grant from an off-campus government agency and with their academic performance ranking top 10% of the University’s overseas students.

(2)舊生：根據申請者前一學期的學業成績及操行表現進行排序，擇優授予。Existing Students: Ranked according to the applicant’s academic results and conduct performance of the previous semester and awarded on merit.

1. 學士班：學業成績及操行成績達80分以上。

Undergraduate Program: Applicants with academic results and conduct performance of 80 points or above.

1.  
2. 碩、博士班：學業成績達90分以上，且操行成績達80分以上。

Master’s and Doctoral Program: Applicants with academic results of 90 points and above and conduct performance of 80 points and above.

(3)國際專修部及其他學生尚未取得正式課程成績，得以使用前一學期華語課程成績申請。

For students from International Foundation Program and students not yet obtained official course results may apply with their Chinese language course results of the previous semester.

2. 前一學期修讀本校華語課程出席率80%以上。（修讀中文學程者得免）

The attendance rate of Chinese language courses in the previous academic year was more than 80%. (This doesn’t apply to applicants majoring Chinese language courses).

3. 申請限制：本助學金之受獎次數以兩次為限，且已受獎者不得連續兩個學期申請。

Application Restriction: One applicant may only be awarded twice, and the recipient may not apply for two consecutive semesters.

4. 「在校住宿費減免助學金」係指免除本大學最基本床位之住宿費。不含保證金、宿舍網路費用及暑假住宿費用。

[Overseas Student On-Campus Accommodation Fee Waiver] refers to the waiver of accommodation fees only for beds in the University instead of deposit, Internet charge and accommodation fees incurred during summer vacation.

5. 受獎生須協助處理境外學生住宿相關事務。

The awarded students are required to assist in the accommodation of overseas students.

6. 實際獲獎名額依當年度經費預算進行調整。

 The actual award quota shall be adjusted based on the annual budget of that year.

第五條

Article 5

獎助學金續領與受獎期限

Scholarship/Grant Re-claim and Award Period

於每學年（期）結束後須重新提出申請再審定，同一獎助學金之申請次數及期限，依各獎助學金相關規定辦理。

At the end of each academic year (semester), the applicant is required to make another application for review. The number of applicants for the same scholarship/grant and time limit shall be subject to relevant regulations as specified for scholarships/grants.

第六條

Article 6

獎助學金發放原則

Principle of Scholarship/Grant Issuing

一、各獎助學金與政府各機關所提供之外國獎學金不得重複領取，違反者得撤銷獎助資格。若有溢領情事，經查證屬實，應予繳回。

The awardee shall not receive the scholarships/grants mentioned herein and foreign scholarships provided by government agencies repeatedly. In case of violation, the eligibility for scholarship/grant may be revoked. In case of over-claim, the overclaim shall be returned after verification.

二、受獎生如有嚴重違反校規之行為者，即扣除獎助學金或喪失獎助資格。

In case of serious violation of the University’s rules, the scholarship/grant awarded shall be deducted or the awardee shall be disqualified for the scholarship/grant.

三、如就學後因故轉學、退學或撤銷學籍時，則取消得獎資格；辦理保留入學或因故休學而擬復學者，需重新申請獎助學金。

The awardee shall be disqualified for the scholarship/grant if he/she transfers, drops out or revokes his/her school status for any reason after the admission; students who want to resume their studies after applying for retention of admission or suspension for some reason need to apply for the scholarship again.

第七條

Article 7

受獎生之義務

Obligations of Awardee

一、受獎期間，受獎生應參與國際暨兩岸教育中心舉辦之國際事務相關計畫或活動至少一場。

During the award period, the awardee shall participate in at least one International   Affairs-related program or activity organized by the International & Cross-Strait Education Center.

二、領取本校助學金者，得協助新生生活輔導、宿舍相關事務，協助辦理境外學生相關活動。

Students who receive scholarship/grant from the University are required to assist freshmen with life counseling, dormitory related affairs, and overseas student related activities.

三、如有未盡事宜，悉依各獎助學金相關規定辦理。

Any matters not covered herein shall be subject to rules for scholarships/grants.

第八條

Article 8

本辦法經本校國際事務推動委員會通過後實施，修正時亦同。

This Regulations has been executed with the approval of University’s International Affairs Promotion Committee, and the same applies to any amendments.
