Language Proficiency Required
Applicants are required to submit a language proficiency certificate that meets the language proficiency requirements in their degree program applications.

Exemption from Submitting Language Proficiency Certificates
Applicants that meet any one of the following criteria are exempted from providing certificates of language proficiency.

Chinese-taught programs
- Native speakers：
Applicants exempt from the Chinese proficiency test shall submit a self-written statement in Chinese, detailing their daily use and proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Previous degree taught in Chinese：
Exempt from the Chinese proficiency test; a school certificate must be provided.

English-taught programs
- Native speakers：
Applicants exempt from the English proficiency test shall submit a a passport as proof.
- Previous degree taught in English/obtained in an English-speaking country
Exempt from the English proficiency test; a school certificate must be provided.
