Work Permit Application Process
Work Permit Application Process for Foreign Faculty and Researchers at National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS)
Departments and centers at NTUNHS may publicly recruit candidates. Once employment is approved by the university, the school will assist in applying for a work permit. The process is outlined below:
1. **Application Method**
The hiring unit must submit a work permit application via the "Foreign Professionals Work Permit Application System" on the Workforce Development Agency website under the Ministry of Labor.
2. **Required Documents from the University**
The following documents must be submitted by the university:
- (1) A completed application form with the school’s official stamps (both large and small seals)
- (2) Identification documents of the department/unit head
- (3) Documents verifying the department’s establishment or registration
For detailed information, please contact the Personnel Office or the Office of International and Cross-Strait Education.
3. **Required Documents from the Foreign Employee**
Foreign employees must provide the following documents for the application:
- (1) A copy of their passport
- (2) A copy of the employment contract
- (3) Documents verifying their qualifications
- (4) Salary withholding statement
- (5) A consent letter from a legal guardian (if applicable)
- (6) Proof of employer transfer (if applicable)

4. **Application Review**
Once the application is submitted, the Ministry of Labor will review it. If approved, an email notification will be sent requesting payment. Bring the payment receipt to the Ministry of Labor to collect the work permit.
5. **Post-Approval Procedures**
After receiving the work permit, follow NTUNHS's onboarding process to complete the necessary procedures for new employees.

- When an emergency occurs in the Campus The Campus Safety Emergency Hotline: (02)2821-4744, The Campus safety center would also inform the international office to see how to help you.
Loss or retrieval of ID or valuables
- Lost and Found: Please check the place where your lost belongings might be or go to the student affairs office on the 1st floor of the administration building for inquiry. Alternatively, you may also consult with the security personnel.
- For those who lost important items such as alien resident permits, cash, etc., please also report to the Yongming Police Station and file a case.
