1Exemption from Submitting Language Proficiency Certificates

Applicants that meet any one of the following criteria are exempted from providing certificates of language proficiency.

  1. Chinese-taught programs

  • Native speakers：
    Applicants exempt from the Chinese proficiency test shall submit a self-written statement in Chinese, detailing their daily use and proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Previous degree taught in Chinese：
    Exempt from the Chinese proficiency test; a school certificate must be provided.

  1. English-taught programs

  • Native speakers：
    Applicants exempt from the English proficiency test shall submit a a passport as proof.
  • Previous degree taught in English/obtained in an English-speaking country
    Exempt from the English proficiency test; a school certificate must be provided.
